Junior Phoenix is intended to be a bridge between our very successful Jr. NBA program and KWGBA rep teams.

Our current plan for Junior Phoenix is to provide girls born from 2014-2017 who have completed one or two sessions of Jr. NBA (or a similar program) with a more advanced program. Assuming registration numbers meet requirements, there will be two options again for 2024-25 for Junior Phoenix – a week night (probably Wednesday) evening program (6:30pm to 8:00pm at Sandowne Public School) and a 1-1/2 hour Saturday morning program (time to be decided) at Centennial Public School. Both locations are tentative and can be changed once school permits are released. Junior Phoenix is for girls born between 2014 and 2017. We prefer that girls have some basketball experience to join Junior Phoenix.   

Junior Phoenix runs from late September until April with the regular school breaks. Full details regarding how this program changes throughout the season will be determined as the season progresses and will be based on the number of girls and skill level in each group.
