REGISTRATION FOR FALL 2026 Jr. NBA WILL OPEN ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 13th 

KWGBA is continuing to partner with the NBA and Basketball Canada to provide the Jr. NBA program to the Kitchener / Waterloo area for girls ages 5 to 10. This program is targeted towards individuals who have the eagerness to learn and achieve the fundamental aspects of basketball. Most participants are being introduced to basketball for the first time or have done similar programs previously.

We intend to run sessions in both Fall 2026 and Winter 2027. 

TUESDAY EVENING - Fall 2026 Session

The fee for the Tuesday Fall Jr. NBA program will again be $115.

Every participant will receive a Jr. NBA pinnie and an age-appropriate basketball.

Jr. NBA is 12 weeks long. The fall program will run from Tuesday, September 22nd to Tuesday, December 8th with December 15th being a snow day. 

The early session will be for girls born in 2019, 2020 and 2021 and will run from 6:30 pm to 7:25 pm. The later session will be for girls born in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 and will run from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Girls born in 2018 have the option of attending the early or the late session depending on their skill level. Please note that the later session is expected to be faster paced although the program is always adjusted for the players in attendance.

Registration and Payment

**Registration will open on Thursday, August 13th **

Payment should be made to kwgba.payments@gmail.com. Note that your registration is not confirmed until you are registered and payment is received. You will receive a registration confirmation within 48 hours of the payment has been received.  

*Space for all programs will be limited. We expect all these programs to fill up fast but reserve the right to make changes or cancel if not enough girls register.
